Bogville Creature Features ~ Gordon Romei

Gordon is an accomplished percussionist, composer and award-winning sound designer. His work has been heard across the west coast since 1986 on the stage, web, radio, television, and soon to be film. He performs regularly with Nequaquam Vacuum, is a founding core member of Oakland's Level:Black and has recently begun work on his solo project Bitter Watch, as well as percussion ensemble s-Mt.

He's created sound designs for several Portland-area companies, including Integrity Productions, JANE a theater company, Brundog Productions, Insight Out Theatre Collective, Mt. Hood Repertory Theater, Tin Pan Alley, Blue Monkey, Pavement Productions, the Bluestockings, the Columbia Symphony, and maintains ongoing residencies with Stumptown Stages and Public Playhouse. He's taught design workshops in California throughout the nineties, has mentored several Portland-area high school and college theatre students and continues to teach and consult privately.
